If you just wish to use the zip-line allow around 45 minutes adding on another 10 minutes for each extra zip you take! Allow around 20 minutes for each other extra activity you undertake. We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot to register, change and get prepared.
We manage all our activities so there is as little queuing as possible however due to the nature of our activities there may some waiting time between challenges.
A head for heights does help but our activities are designed to help people challenge themselves and build their confidence. Our instructors have been trained to help you work through your nerves and achieve your goals.
If you have any doubts about a medical condition please consult your doctor before using the ropes course. Pregnant women are restricted from using the activities. If you have any serious health complaints, let us know when booking the course including past injuries. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer declaring any medical conditions on arrival.
You will have help at each point of the zip-line: beginning, middle and end. You will not have to operate any of the zip-line equipment yourself but you will be given safety briefings on how to use the activities before using them. The high ropes course will require you to operate the equipment yourself, after full briefing with your instructors. You can cheer your friend along on their turn but our activities all need to be used by one person at time.
Do they need me to go with them too? Are there any other restrictions? Our restrictions are based on weight. Children need to be at least 30kg. You must also weigh under 120 kg to participate in the activities. Our activities are more suited for those over seven years old. Our staff will guide youngsters around the course but of course it’s more fun if you take part too!
You will be fitted with a harness on all the activities so casual comfortable clothes are recommended with trousers or shorts that you can fit the equipment over. You will need to wear closed shoes, such as trainers that will stay on when you zip and grip when you climb the wall.
We also run other adventure activities which you can incorporate into your time at the Adventure Centre however these need to be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Do click here to inquire, or visit our sister company, Ability Expeditions, for more adventurous options for groups or call our hotline at +60138088075.
There is a small shop available at the Adventure Centre. Meals are available to those who have pre-booked but unfortunately we can not provide individual food orders.
Our centre is used for other activities and has a large volume of groups on residential stays therefore we kindly request that our customers do not use the grounds for picnics or camping after their high ropes courses are finished.
Our activities will remain open as long as it remains safe to do so. It is at the instructors discretion to close the course during extreme weather conditions for your safety. If you have not had the opportunity to start using the activities we will refund your entry fee. Activities that have already started will not be refunded if canceled due to bad weather.
We have standard public liability insurance at the centre, however you will need your own insurance to cover you for any accidents or incidents with Zip Borneo. Our activities are very safe however users should be aware the odd grazes and bumps can happen during activities. We recommend you to have your own travel/health insurance.
